TRACY LOUIS FREDENBURG, age 60, passed away on the morning of Monday, August 1, 2022 in Waseca.
Born in Faribault on February 17, 1962, Tracy was the son of Richard and Beverly (St. Martin) Fredenburg. He grew up in Waterville and attended Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School before continuing his education at Faribault Vo-Tech where he studied mechanics. Tracy owned and operated Main Street Service and Exhaust in Waterville for many years and he also volunteered with the Waterville Fire Department. He was married to Paula Schuster for several years before their divorce. In his free time, he enjoyed repairing small engines, motorcycles, and bikes, racing, and gardening. More than anything though, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Tracy is survived by his son, Cody Fredenburg of Ely; his step-children, Natasha (Shane) Southard of Waseca, Taya (Harley Hawks) Rux of Kilkenny, David (Melissa Goldsmith) Schuster of Waterville, and Mike (Shylah) Cassidy of Elysian; fourteen grandchildren; and four siblings, Pete Fredenburg of Florida, Cheryl (Dan Filan) Adams of Morristown, Paul (Deanna) Fredenburg of Waterville, and Nellie Fredenburg of Faribault. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; and one brother Richard, Fredenburg, Jr.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be hosted by his family from 4-7PM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Waterville Event Center.
