TIMOTHY “TIM” WAYNE KLETSCHKA, age 69, of Waterville passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle of chronic illness on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System – St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester.
Born on October 1, 1955, in Mankato, Tim was the son of James and Eunice (Porter) Kletschka. He graduated from Waterville High School with the Class of 1973 and went on to attend Dunwoody Institute, where he earned his Master’s Electrical Degree. Tim dedicated his life’s work to being an electrical contractor, serving communities throughout Minnesota.
On October 1, 2021, Tim married the love of his life, who he met in 1989, Kelly Rodriguez, in a beautiful lakeside ceremony at the Sportsman’s Club in Waterville.
Tim lived a full and vibrant life. He enjoyed scenic drives, time on the lake aboard his pontoon, hunting, fishing, and raising farm animals. A passionate outdoorsman, he also loved mushroom hunting and working on classic muscle cars—especially GTOs. He was a spiritual man with a sharp sense of humor and a warm heart. Tim loved entertaining and being surrounded by family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kelly Rodriguez Kletschka; children, Jesse (Pam) Kletschka, Joshua Kletschka, Timothy (Michelle) Kletschka Jr., Angela Lindsay, Brandon (Sarah) Rodriguez; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Jamie Kletschka, Joseph (Penny) Kletschka, Mary (John) Muldoon, Kathy (Barry) Reysack, Lisa Sheehy (Jaime Hatfield); and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his son, Garrett Kletschka; granddaughter, Stormy Rodriguez; and parents.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at a later date.
