Terry Vincent Miller

December 2, 1942 — December 2, 2023

Waterville. Minnesota

TERRY VINCENT MILLER, age 81 of Waterville, died on the morning of Saturday, December 2, 2023, at The Emeralds of Faribault.

Terry was born in Clinton, Iowa on December 2, 1942, the only child of Vincent “Tooter” and Vernita “Nita” Miller.  He graduated from high school in Preston, Iowa before going on to continue his education at the University of Iowa.  Terry worked in sales for Procter & Gamble, Inc. for many years before retiring at the age of 51.  As a sales representative he covered many miles and made many friends at family-owned grocery stores throughout southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.  Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to pass his knowledge of both activities to his children.  He also enjoyed woodworking and was an incredibly passionate pigeon racer. He was a passionate fan of the Minnesota Twins and the Iowa Hawkeyes.  His knowledge of pigeon genetics and breeding lines was unmatched.  He was a member of the American Legion in Elysian, and he will be missed by those that knew him.

Terry is survived by two sons, Scott (Carolyn) Miller of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Chris Miller of El Reno, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his significant other Tanya; three previous wives; and several step-children and their families. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; and one son, Steve Miller. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tammy Peach for all she has done for Terry over the years.

At Terry’s request, no public gathering is being planned at this time.  Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waterville is assisting Terry’s boys with his arrangements.
