Suzanne Louise Troska

SUZANNE “SUE” LOUISE (HENRY) TROSKA, age 82 of Albert Lea, died Monday, October 21, 2024, at her home.

She was born on September 19, 1942, in Albert Lea, a daughter of Philip and Mabel (Stoen) Henry. She graduated from Albert Lea High School. On February 8, 1964, she married Robert Eugene Troska, who preceded her in death on December 22, 2012. Sue loved the years her and Bob spent living in Branson, Missouri. She loved casino trips, playing Dr. Mario, spending time with her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren at the camper, she was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. 

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Brian) Tomford of Waseca, Kristin (Tony Prodzinski) Troska of Winona, Jeff (Terri) Troska of Roseville; grandchildren, Alex (Amber) Tomford, Ashley (Austin) Tomford, Jake, Sam, and Ryan Troska; great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Rhett Tomford; two sisters, Pat Dollum and Sarah Eikenberry; sisters-in-law, Louis Troska and Katie Woitas, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; parents-in-law, Frank and Florence Troska; siblings, Phyllis, Robert, Genielle, Phil, Sharon, and Tom; two brothers-in-law, Ray and Bill.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Albert Lea. Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
