Robert Richard Barr

ROBERT RICHARD BARR, age 91 of Waseca died, Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his home.

He was born on April 17, 1934, in Lake Norden, South Dakota. He was the son of Newell and Agnes (Berg) Barr. Following high school, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In 1954, Robert was united in marriage to Lorraine Theresa Cesafsky. He worked as a tool and dye maker for 44 years before his retirement. Robert was a very gregarious person with a bright sense of humor who always enjoyed making others laugh. He was very crafty and creative and was quite adventurous in his younger days. He loved old clocks, especially restoring them. Being very intelligent, you may often find him drawing something new, that he would later go on to create something unique from. He loved spending time with his family, and he loved his dog, Bridget. Robert was a Christian by faith.

He is survived by his children, Renee (Darrell) Barnes, Jeff (Julie) Barr, Robert (Tracy) Barr, Christopher Barr; sister, Patricia (Sam) Bernstein, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, siblings, Donald “Buddy”, Grace, Melba, Florence “Tootsie”, and Jenny.
