PAUL A. ADAMS, age 77, of Waseca, passed away on September 30, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato.
Paul was born on April 18, 1949, in Mankato to Leon and Margaret (Denn) Adams. He was raised on a farm near Janesville with his eleven siblings and graduated from Janesville High School in 1967, where he enjoyed playing basketball. Following high school, Paul was drafted into the United States Army and served honorably as a Specialist in Vietnam until his discharge in 1970.
On June 10, 1972, he married Vicki Wolle in Mankato. Together they shared 54 years of marriage and made their home in Waseca, where they raised their daughter, Nicole. Paul was a devoted husband and father who cherished time spent with his family, especially outdoors and caring for their many dogs.
Paul drove school bus for Lenz Bus Service before spending most of his career as a Field Plot Technician at the University of Minnesota Southern Research and Outreach Center. A farmer at heart, he enjoyed tracking the weather, working on tractors, repairing engines, and tinkering around the farm.
Paul loved taking drives through the countryside and vacationing with his family along the North Shore. Grand Marais became a favorite destination, where they enjoyed many memorable summers on Lake Superior.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Generations in Mankato for the exceptional care and kindness they provided during Paul's final years.
Paul is survived by his wife, Vicki Adams of Waseca; daughter, Nicole (Jon) Lucca of Waseca; siblings, Dianne (Gordy) Galler of Elysian, Judy (Dick) Anderson of Stillwater, Richard (Luane) Adams of Mankato, John (Janet) Adams of Mankato, Kathy (Darrell) Danielson of Mankato; sisters-in-law, Judy Adams of Janesville, and Sue Adams of Janesville; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Margaret Adams; siblings, Dean (Ritva) Adams, Jerry (Karleen) Adams, David (Shelby) Adams, Robert Adams, Everett (Judy) Adams, Pete (Sue) Adams; brother-in-law, Gordy Galler; parents-in-law, Don and MaryLu Wolle; and special fur buddy, Tobie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association .
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the mass at the church. Burial will be at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Janesville.
