Mary Louise Hutton

MARY LOUISE HUTTON, age 79, a resident of Waseca, MN passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025.

She was born on August 18, 1945, in Ohio, a daughter of Roy and Norma Loth. Her birth name was Mary Louise Loth. She had an older brother named John Hamilton who preceded her in death in 2023. Mary and her mother lived in Arcadia, Ohio for 13+ years from 1950 – 1963. During her senior year of high school, Mary was voted Homecoming Queen. Mary married John Luther Woten on February 23, 1964, in Arcadia, though after eight years the two divorced. Together they had one child, Dawn, who was born on Christmas Day in 1964. Mary’s father Roy passed away on October 10, 1991. Her mother Norma passed away in 2007. Mary’s first husband John passed away in 2017.

Mary resided in Florida for most of Dawn’s youth and in 1988 moved to Oregon. October of that year, she married Dale Hutton, who survives her. She is also survived by her daughter, Dawn (Joseph) Conely; grandchildren, Katrina (Derek) Severson, Lillian (Adam) Everman, Josiah Conely; great-grandchildren, Azaiah, Aliyah and Chloe.

In May of 2000, Mary and Dale moved to Vancouver, Washington. She resided there until her move to Waseca in September of 2023. During her lifetime, Mary was employed as a Judicial Secretary. Her pastimes included Mystery Novels/Stories and action movies (especially if Tom Cruise was the starring role). She had an unfailing good humor, belief in God with strong faith and deepest love for family. She was uncommonly generous almost to a fault and her desire for excellence tended to make everyone around her more kind, more heart-felt and better people. Her laugh and smile could brighten any room or day, and her faith gave her strength to overcome many health issues over many years. We are joyful in the knowledge of her faith in Jesus Christ as her savior and are impatiently awaiting our reunion with her in heaven.
