Judith Ann Mettler

JUDITH ANN METTLER, age 86 of Waseca, died on the evening of March 20, 2026, at her home.

Judy was born in Britt, Iowa on August 31, 1939, to parents Alpha and Merle (Ludeke) Lloyd. She graduated from Britt High School before marrying John Mettler on August 8, 1965. They later divorced. She attended school to learn flower arranging, enjoyed gardening, worked for a time as a Paraprofessional in the public school, and spent many years as a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Owatonna.

Judy is survived by a daughter, Dawn Mettler of Waseca; two grandchildren, Sabrina Mettler of Rochester, and Devin Weimer of Owatonna; four great-grandchildren, Jack, Quinn, Arie, and Bree; and a brother, Larry Lloyd of Algona, Iowa. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; and a brother, Doug Lloyd.

A gathering to celebrate Judith’s life will be hosted by her family on at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (800 Robinswood Place, Owatonna, Minnesota, 55060).
