Joyce Yvonne Dykema

JOYCE YVONNE DYKEMA, age 85 of Waseca, formerly of Willmar, died on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at her Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center Home in Waseca.

Joyce was born on August 25, 1940, in Willmar to parents Leslie and Gladys (Snyder) Myers. After graduating from Willmar High School she attained her business certificate. She worked for nearly thirty years as an Executive Assistant to the leadership of Kemps Foods. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, traveling, and loved fishing with her husband until his passing in the summer of 2020.

Joyce is survived by her son, Dean (Jodi) Dykema of Waseca; her daughter, Connie (Greg) Eastman of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Jamie Dykema and Mekayla Eastman; her brother, Jack Myers; and her sister, Carol Bell. She is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her parents; her beloved husband; and a sister, Janet Thompson.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or memorials, condolences may be directed to the Dykema family in care of the funeral home in Waseca.
