Jimmie Lynn Underwood, age 56, formerly of Emmons, died on Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Anacoco, Louisiana. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Emmons, Minnesota, with Rev. Roger Haug officiate. Jimmie, the son of Edward and Marjorie Stene Underwood was born on December 11, 1953, in Albert Lea, MN. He passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the Rosepine Nursing Center in Rosepine, LA. He retired from the U.S. Army as an E-7, after serving for twenty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, basket ball, golf and NASCAR. He is survived by his significant other Lori Carrillo of Anacoco, sons Jimmie Underwood, Jamie Underwood, Michael Casebier, Jason Casebier, & Thomas Underwood, daughters, Larissa Underwood, Jennifer Underwood, & Michelle Underwood, brother John and wife Lori Underwood of Waseca, MN, sister Debra Colebank of Albertville, MN and numerous nieces and nephews.
