Harriet Tetzloff May 21, 1912 - October 2, 2010

Harriet A. Tetzloff, age 98 of Janesville, died on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville with Fr. Peter Klein, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville, and will continue on Monday afternoon for one hour prior to services, at church. Harriet Anna Marie was born in St. Clair on May 21, 1912 to Louis and Emma (Beccu) Hintze. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1930 and Mankato Teacher''s College in 1932. On September 23, 1939 she married Lee Tetzloff at St. Peter and Paul''s Catholic Church in Mankato. Harriet was a member or the Council of Catholic Women, Mother''s Club, and a charter member of the Janesville Nursing Home Volunteer Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Waseca County Red Cross, Catholic Daughters, and the Round Robin Bridge Club. She is survived by three sons, John (Paula) Tetzloff of Prior Lake, James (Mary Jane) Tetzloff of Faribault, and Thomas Tetzloff of Janesville; by her five grandchildren, Sarah Tetzloff of Mankato, Paul (Chere) Tetzloff, USMC, Kailua, HI, Tonsha (Pat) Belland of Chaska, Lori (Bill) Skallerud of Edina, and Jeff (Emily ) Roberts of Lake Oswego, OR, and by her six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, her father in 1938 and mother in 1960, and by her sister Hazel (Grundmeier) Eberl in 1974. Casket bearers are retired members of the Janesville Fire Department: Stan Dimmel, Wayne Gahler, Gary Cummins, Warren Johnson, Chuck Kopischke and Dennis Garms. Honorary bearers are: Francis Cowdin, Ron Wiste, Dick Sandberg, Charlene Grundmeier, Rick Grundmeier, John Grundmeier, Steve Tetzloff and Tom Meyer.
