Gloria Jean Clausen

Gloria Jean Clausen, age 69 passed away on August 16, 2026, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Born on May 26, 1957, in Waseca, MN she was the daughter of David and Lorriane (Witt) Clausen. She was raised on the family farm in Pemberton, MN and graduated from Waldorf-Pemberton high school in 1975.

Gloria moved to Texas, where she owned and operated a copy business. She also enjoyed sewing and created numerous costumes for the local Renaissance Festival. In 2012, she returned to Minnesota, where she worked at Quad graphics in Waseca and Minn Kota in Mankato.

Gloria was an independent woman with a strong spirit and a tough exterior, but beneath it all was a tender and caring heart. She loved deeply in her own way. To honor Gloria’s memory, hug your loved ones a little tighter, a little longer, and never miss an opportunity to let them know they are loved.

Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Denise Lorraine (Gene) Liner, Judith (Tom) Shupien, and Roger Clausen; and her nephew, Lee Liner.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

At Gloria’s request, no formal services will be held.
