Dustin Lee Roemhildt, age 53 of Waterville, MN passed away on October 7, 2026.
Born on May 13, 1973, in Waseca, Mn he was the son of Gaylen and Collette Roemhildt. He was raised in the Waterville area and attended and graduated from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown high school in 1991. Following graduation, he entered the workforce, working in construction for various businesses. Most recently, he was employed at LCS Precision Molding in Waterville.
Dustin had a deep love for the outdoors, a passion that began in his younger years and was shared with his dad and brothers. Summer days found him enjoying time in his boat, while winter brought the comfort of the icehouse and the excitement of waiting for the next big catch. Those fishing adventures often led to family fish fries, where the day's stories and the joy of being together were just as memorable as the meal itself.
Dustin loved watching all kinds of sports, but he especially enjoyed cheering on his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He also had a remarkable knack for sports trivia and a wealth of knowledge about the games and teams he followed.
Dustin cherished his two nephews, Austin and Alex, and thought the world of them. He loved spending time with them, sharing with them the outdoor traditions he held so dear. He was proud to watch them grow and enjoyed being there to cheer them on in their activities. His love for his family was evident in the moments he shared with them, and those memories will be treasured for years to come.
Dustin will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Collette and Gaylen; brother, Travis (Carrie); nephews, Austin and Alex; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Corey; uncles, Alan, Ralph, and Stewart; aunt, Lisa; and cousin, Steve.
In keeping with Dustin's wishes, no formal services will be held.
