DUANE K. COLE, age 83, of Waseca passed away on June 30, 2025 at Allina Hospital in Faribault.

Duane was born on March 19, 1942, in Freeborn County, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Mabel (Jeddeloh) Cole. He grew up in Waseca and graduated from Waseca High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Army. Following his service, Duane lived throughout Minnesota before moving to Minneapolis for work. He then retired in Waseca, where he lived the rest of his life. He was united in marriage to Pamela Bradley on March 9, 2002, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.

He was a proud member of the Local 49 Operating Engineers Union, the American Legion, and was active in his community. Duane was a lifelong Lutheran and carried his faith with quiet strength and humility.

Duane enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his time fishing, hunting, cycling, traveling, and flying. He was known for his steady presence, strong work ethic, willingness to help others and sense of humor. At home, he found joy in the company of his family and beloved pets, Ted and Cary.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Bradley of Waseca; siblings, Sharon (Dan) McLaughlin of Minneapolis, Glen (Patty) Cole of Minnetonka, Roger Cole of Waseca; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jan Cole; and many aunts and uncles.

Committal service for Duane will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Woodville Cemetery with military honors.
