Doyle E. Duke, age 51, of Brainerd passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Texas Terrace Care Center in St. Louis Park.

A private family service will be held at a later time.

Arrangements are being completed by McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca.

Doyle Eli, son of Doyle and Sylvia (Britton) Duke, was born on August 31, 1963 in San Diego, CA. Doyle grew up in Minneapolis. He worked as a cook in various restaurants for most of his life. Doyle enjoyed fishing, hunting, county music, collecting wolves, eagles, and Native American items. He was a funny man and a loving father.

Doyle is survived by his dad, Doyle Duke, Sr.; sisters, Debra Buchholz (Leonard Manning), Rhonda (Joe) Daml, Roxanne Hubert, Melinda (Paul) Cook; brother, Walter (Cindy) Duke; step-son, James (Amanda) Fischer; daughters, Jessica Fischer (fianc, Brian), Amanda (fianc, Jason) Duke, Heather Duke, and Christina Harmer; 9 grandchildren; ex-wife, Beth Duke; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Britton and Mr. and Mrs. Walter "Jack" Duke; his mother, Sylvia Duke; sister, Rebecca Krueger, and by many other family members.
