Diann Lucille Farnum

DIANN LUCILLE FARNUM, age 71, of Waseca, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Cura of Le Sueur.

Diann was born on February 14, 1955, in Minneapolis to Lowell and Lola (Beiderman) Farnum. She grew up in Prior Lake and attended Normandale Community College for two years, studying massage therapy.

Throughout her life, Diann worked a variety of jobs, including as a stocker at Walmart, at an animal fair company, in security at Port Bunge, and as a dietary technician. She was a creative, strong, and caring person who was always willing to help her family members. She had a special passion for horses and loved animals. In her free time, Diann enjoyed freehand painting and listening to music.

Diann is survived by her siblings, Doug Farnum, Steve Farnum, Mark Farnum, James Farnum, Tracy Sheridan, and Cheryl Farnum; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Lola Farnum; and her sisters, Rita Klingberg and Barbara White.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 26, 2026 at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waseca. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
