She attended Faribault High School before being united in marriage to Leslie Donald Schneider on October 17, 1957, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Together they shared a loving marriage spanning nearly seven decades.
For 35 years, Delores was employed at Brown Printing in Waseca, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Throughout her life she enjoyed staying active and social. Delores treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.
Delores had a vibrant personality and a wonderful sense of fun. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting casinos, trying her luck with pull tabs, planting flowers, and spending time with friends. Family members fondly recall her playful habit of collecting nickels, dimes, and quarters from the children during card games. Her love of flowers was evident in the beautiful gardens she maintained, particularly her fondness for sunflowers and begonias.
