David Michael Kramer of Washougal, WA passed away at home on May 18, 2026 surrounded by those closest to his heart. His short but intense battle with pancreatic cancer revealed his bravery and steadfast heart, he never stopped fighting to live to see his son grow up.
Born on October 19, 1979 in Waseca, MN, he was the cherished youngest son of Bob and Colleen Kramer. Growing up, David was known for his love of reading, sports and spirit of adventure. He attended school in Waseca and later moved to the Twin Cities to attend St. Thomas University. He built a career in IT as a Systems Director at Pharmacy Safeguard, which he took over in early 2025. His care for his customers was evident in every interaction.
To his parents, he was a devoted and loving son. Colleen and Bob travelled to the Pacific Northwest several times a year to spend time with Dave and Ronan. They had many adventures - travelling, exploring, cooking, baking, hiking. Being a father to Ronan was his life's greatest achievement, and he excelled in that role. Ronan was the center of his world. He and his ex-wife, Laurie, formed a close partnership as co-parents and always centered their son's needs and desires above all else. Ronan will always remember the walks he and his father took, the awesome dinners his dad prepared for him, and gaming together.
Beyond his family, Dave was a loyal, funny and caring friend. Whether he was cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, indulging in his love of PC gaming with his online friends, or trading quips over fantasy football, his presence brought joy to those around him. His laughter was absolutely contagious. RIP Nemesix.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Elaine Gehring Kramer, and Gerald Donelan and four uncles. David is survived by his parents Robert (Bob) and Colleen Kramer, his brother Scott Kramer, his son Ronan Kramer, and his grandmother Gertrude Harguth Donelan, as well many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Sacred Heart Church in Waseca. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. All who knew and loved Dave are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories.
Memorials in Dave’s honor are preferred to his son Ronan’s college fund.
