Daniel Joseph Bartelt

Daniel “Danny” Joseph Bartelt, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2026, in Florida.

Danny was born on January 29, 1960, in Waseca, Minnesota, to Richard and Noreen (Keeley) Bartelt. He grew up in Waseca and graduated from Waseca High School in 1978. He went on to graduate from Pipestone Meat Cutters School and worked at Wistes and Lau's meat markets. Danny eventually made his way to Florida, where he continued his career working at Publix Grocery.

While living in Florida, Danny met the love of his life, Linda Pfeiffer. The two were united in marriage in 2000 and shared many wonderful years together until she passed away in 2014.

In his spare time, Danny enjoyed cooking, fishing, and golfing. Whether preparing a meal, spending time on the water, or enjoying a round of golf, he appreciated life's simple pleasures.

In 2013, Danny suffered a life-changing aneurysm that brought significant challenges to his life. He spent his remaining years receiving care in various healthcare facilities. Through it all, Danny remained a beloved member of his family, and the love and memories they shared continued to hold a special place in their hearts.

Danny is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Bob (Val) Bartelt, Debbie Bartelt, Kathy (Brian) Dulas, Bill Bartelt, Colleen (Tim) Cutting, Carol (Bud) Adams, and Nancy (Jim) Konides, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including his special niece, Amy Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda; his parents, Richard and Noreen Bartelt; his mother-in-law, Mary Pfeiffer; his sister, Karen Johnson; his brother, Jerry Bartelt; his niece, Angie Johnson; his nephew, Darren Bartelt; and many aunts and uncles.

Danny will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. The memories made, the bonds shared, and the love he leaves behind will forever be treasured. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Waseca American Legion in Waseca, Minnesota. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Danny's life.
