Bryan Michael Jewison

Bryan Michael Jewison, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, after a long illness due to Parkinson’s Disease.

Bryan was born on August 8, 1949, in Mankato, Minnesota. He attended Janesville Public School, graduating in 1967, and later earned his degree from the University of Minnesota in 1971.

After college, Bryan returned to Janesville to farm, working alongside his father on the family farm in Janesville Township. He will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his quiet neighborliness, and the generosity he extended to family, friends, and strangers alike. Bryan lived his life with humility, kindness, and a steady devotion to the people and community he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence “Duke” Jewison and Grace L. Jewison. Bryan is survived by his brothers, Ward and Lynn (Leah), and his sisters, Mary (Brandt) and Eileen (Mark), along with many nieces and nephews who cherished him deeply.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Janesville Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral Homes in Janesville to honor Bryan’s life and legacy.
