BARBARA ANN CLIFF, age 76, of Waseca died on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System – St. Marys Campus in Rochester.
Born on May 2, 1945, in New Ulm, Minnesota to Lawrence and Lela (Hulett) Bartz. She grew up in Morton and attended Morton Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1963. Following her education, she took a job in Windom for a short time before making her home in Waseca. In 1972, Barbara was united in marriage to Thomas Cliff at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. Together they shared 10 years of marriage before Tom passed away in 1982. Although their time together was brief, Barb and Tom had many fond memories of working together, snowmobiling, fishing, especially ice fishing, and camping up north. Barbara was a long time employee for Brown Printing. In retirement Barb knew how to stay busy, whether it was shopping, volunteering at the nursing home, traveling or catching up on her nieces and nephews activities. Barb was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge and going on cruises. Barb was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was active with bible study, and the funeral committee.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Bonnie Boyer of Cleveland, OH; sisters-in-law: Barbara Mentzer of San Antonio, TX and Joann Earle of Waseca; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers-in-law: Rick Cliff and Tim Boyer
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. Interment will be in Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
