VERA E. POSEGATE, age 95 of Brookfield, Illinois, died at The Woodlands Care Center in Brookfield on May 16, 2015.
Born in Mankato on January 27, 1920, Vera was the daughter of Grace Heiser (later Grace Lamont).  She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in 1933.  On December 24, 1946 she was united in marriage to Russell Posegate in Mankato.  Vera was a homemaker who enjoyed music and reading.
Vera is survived by one nephew, Robert (Gail) Rutjes of Mankato.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A private interment service was held at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
