TERRY LEE LUNDGREN, age 59 of Janesville, passed away following a three year battle with cancer at his home on Saturday, June 19, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born in Waseca on August 6, 1961, Terry was the son of Richard Lundgren and Maggie (Tetzloff). He grew up in Janesville and went to Janesville schools when he was young. He was married to Janet Hoehn for a time, and they had two children before their divorce. Most recently he worked in the construction industry for AA King in Janesville. He enjoyed collecting Road Runner and KISS memorabilia, fishing, music, and spending time with his family and grandkids. In 1998 Terry began his life with Diane Radunz, and they had a commitment ceremony on October 20, 2018. He and Diane were raising their grandson, A.J. together.
Known as “Dad” and “Papa” to more than just his own family, Terry is survived by his wife, Diane Radunz of Janesville; his father, Richard Lundgren of St. Peter; his children, Derrick (Ashlee) Hoehn of Cleveland, Jeremy (Carolyn) James of Portland, OR, Josh (Angela) Radunz of Waseca, and Julie Radunz of Waseca; ten grandchildren, Destiny, Colton, Kaleb, Jade, Aric, Paige, Adarius “AJ”, Ethan, Lilliana, and Jaya; and five siblings, Todd Lundgren of Lewisville, Jamie Arndt of Janesville, and Angie Lundgren of St. Peter, Terry (Jodi) Holtz of Decorah, IA, and KariLynn Hinden of St. Peter; as well as nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; other family; and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Splett; his step-father, Gerald “Buster” Splett; his step-mother, Mildred “Millie” Lundgren; a grandson, Blake Hoehn; a nephew, Joshua; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Terry’s family would like to offer a special thank you to “Dr. D” and all of the oncology nurses from Mankato that cared for Terry throughout his illness.
Per Terry’s wishes, a private family service and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Janesville is handling the arrangements.
