June 7, 1951 — November 15, 2020

ROSEMARY SCHROEDER, age 69 of Janesville, died peacefully Sunday evening, November 15, 2020 at Whispering Creek in Janesville.

Roesemary was born on June 7, 1951, in Mankato to Wilbert and Edith (Pagel) Schroeder. She was raised in Janesville, graduating from Janesville High School with the class of 1969. Following her education, she began working at Brown Printing in Waseca for several years. Rosemary’s life was encompassed around caring and serving others as she spent the rest of her career as a CNA at the nursing home in Le Center, Lake Shore Inn in Waseca and the Janesville Nursing Home, later serving on the board at the Janesville Nursing Home. In addition, she provided personal health care services to many in their homes. In her younger years she enjoyed playing pool and even made it to the national tournament in Las Vegas. Rosemary enjoyed crocheting. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. She was honored to receive the “Women of Today” award for her service to the community that she cared so much about. Rosemary could be described by many as an outgoing people person with a personality that attracted many friends. It was these friendships that she formed throughout her life that were most important to her, especially the goose crew and her neighbors at Park Road Plaza where she had lived for the past 25 years. She will be dearly missed.

Rosemary is survived by her sister, Susan Schroeder of Waseca; brother, Bill (Dyanne Link-Richied) Schroeder of Elgin, IL; sister-in-law, Joan Schroeder of Janesville; nieces and nephews: Shawn Anderson, Tammy (Courtney) Frank, Beth (Jason) Bushie, Danielle (Bret) Lang, Jacob (Courtney) Schroeder, Chad (Molly) Schroeder, Julie (Brian) Pirtle and Cory (Tenia) Schroeder; ten great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; other relatives and many friends.
