The family prefers that memorials be designated to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, or the Kidney Foundation of MN in memory of Bob.

Robert (Bob) was born on July 15, 1926, in Faribault to Arthur and Hilda (Amundson) Dub.

Bob went to work for his father to establish the Artcraft Plastering Company at a young age. The company grew to serve the five state area and employed over 100 people at its peak of business. Robert worked at Artcraft Plastering until his retirement.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann (Pat) Brucher on November 10, 1948. For a wedding gift he gave Patricia a new home on Ravine Street in Faribault, which he built for her just before they were married.

In 1963, the family outgrew their home on the eastside and Bob built a large home on the edge of Faribault, which is now called Cardinal Avenue. While living in the new home Bob and his family enjoyed many animals and hobbies. Including horses, dogs, cats, geese, rabbits, and others. Bob enjoyed hunting, gardening, spending time with his family, and his work. One of Bob''s more colorful hobbies happened in the early 1970s when he became a distiller (alas "moonshiner"); a real live raid occurred at his home by the Federal

Government. It was an exciting time for Faribault and Bob became well known throughout Southern MN. They reported it was "good stuff"Dub''s Dew.

Bob continued throughout his life helping others with building projects and his own pastime activities. Which included making jewelry, woodcarving, creating lamps and tables from agates and stones, and others. He was a man of all trades and a master of all his endeavors.

Bob is survived by his nine children Barbara (Harlan) Handahl, Roberta (Larry) Furland, Sandra (Patrick Messerich) Dub-Erickson, Jeffery (Traci Working) Dub, Gregory (Donna Daire) Dub, Patricia (Bruce) Bullert, Walter (Patty) Dub, Joseph (Debbie Tupy) Dub, Robert Jr. (Dani Rodewald) Dub. Fifteen grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Burton J, Benjamin, Breana, Harrison, Garrison, Constance, Heidi, Jessica, Sky, Jake, Owen, Kevin, and Tanner and 18 great grandchildren; by two brothers, Arthur Dub Jr. and Charles (Rose) Dub; by his sister-in-law, JoAnne Dub and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his parents, Art and Hilda, two brothers Wallace and Donald, one sister Carol Anderson, and a great granddaughter Brooke Mier.
