Mary E. Krenske July 17, 1924 - July 6, 2014
Mary E. Krenske, age 89 of Faribault, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her home following an extended illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to services.
The family prefers that memorials be directed to Hospice Advantage of Lakeville, MN, Divine Mercy Catholic Church or Bethlehem Academy High School in memory of Mary.
Mary Ellen Pemrick, the daughter of Anthony and Catherine (Dwyer) Pemrick, was born on July 17, 1924 in Rice County, MN. On April 25, 1942 she was united in marriage to Wesley Krenske at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church in Shieldsville. Mr. Krenske preceded her in death on January 8, 2002. Mary worked at different businesses in Faribault including Faribault Foods and Wilsons. She worked at the Faribault Woolen Mill for over 20 years. She served on the Wells Township School Board for 20 years. Mary enjoyed playing all types of card games, bingo and trips to the casino with family and friends. Mary also enjoyed cooking and entertaining for others and always enjoyed time spent with all of her family. She was a member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, the Daughters of Isabella, the Rosary Society and the Divine Mercy CCW.
She is survived by her six children, Helen Reiter of Faribault, Jean Ille and Chuck Minni of Farmington, MN, Frank (Laura) Krenske, Joyce (Steve) Friesen, David (Jackie) Krenske and Perry (Karen) Krenske, all of Faribault; by 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; by her sister Theresa Pumper of Albert Lea, MN; by her daughter-in-law, Sandra Low of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Robert Krenske, an infant son, an infant grandchild, her brother, Frank Pemrick, her sister Florence Archambault and by her son-in-law David Reiter.
