She attended Rural School District 106 and St. Casimir Parochial School. On May 27, 1957, Margaret was united in marriage to Alvin Leo Kahnke in Wells. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alvin Kahnke; her daughters, Carol (Paul) Hoffman, Joan (Tim) Brosam, and Sharon (John) Hardel; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kristina), Kaylee (Dan), Kevin, and Payton; her two sisters, Reely (Lawrence) Kahnke and Lillian (Richard) Bush; her sister-in-law, Alice Yainske; her brother-in-law, Eugene (Mary) Kahnke, and by many nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Marvin, Ray, and Phil Yainske; and by her sisters, Maxine Kuechenmeister and Esther Regenscheid.
