Lisa (Krause) Heutmaker, age 48 of Cottage Grove, formerly of Waseca, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her home. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 10th at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Vicki Hultine officiating. Interment will be in the Woodville Cemetery. Lisa''s family will greet friends on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service, at St. John Lutheran Church (Trinity Hall) in Waseca. Memorials preferred to the St. John Piano Fund. McRaith Funeral Home of Waseca is handling arrangements. Lisa Jo was born on June 28, 1961 to Lawrence "Shyde" and Virginia (McIntyre) Krause in Waseca, Minnesota. She was a 1979 graduate of Waseca High School, and 1983 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. Lisa has been employed with Northland Insurance Company since 1992. She was united in marriage to Jeff Heutmaker on June 17, 1995 at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca. Lisa and Jeff have resided in Cottage Grove. Lisa was blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She sang four years in the Gustavus Adolphus Choir, directed and sang in the St. John Senior Choir, and the choral group World Voices. She was also active in Community Theather, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, baking, shooting, reading, hunting, and camping. Lisa participated in the Relay For Life "Wings of Hope" Team. Lisa was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca and its adult group, Inbetweeners. She also enjoyed her faithful labs dogs, Duke and Alex. Lisa is survived by her husband Jeff Heutmaker of Cottage Grove; by her step-daughters Jennifer A. (Gary) Gray of St. Joseph, MO, and Jody K. (Michael) Garcia of Cottage Grove; by her step-grandchildren Emily Gray, and Jake, Sophie and Noah Garcia; by her mother Virginia Krause, brother Larry (Mary Jo) Krause, and sister Jackie Krause, all of Waseca; by her brother-in-law John Mikkelson of Cloquet, and her sisters-in-law Janet (Craig) Deuth of Forest Lake, and Patty Heutmaker of Inver Grove Heights; by her nieces and nephews, Justin and Hailey Krause, Ashley, Robert and Elizabeth Heutmaker, and Craig, Christopher and Sara Deuth; by her faithful Lab Dogs, Duke and Alex. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence "Shyde" Krause, and her sister Sandy; by her brother-in-law James Heutmaker, and sister-in-law Judy Mikkelson. Honorary bearers are: Justin Krause, Jake Heutmaker, Robert Heutmaker, Craig Deuth, Christopher Deuth, Noah Garcia, and Frank Hickey.
