FRANCISCO MARQUEZ GARCIA, age 78 of Waseca died on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Whispering Creek in Janesville.

Born on April 11, 1942 in Jesus Maria, Jalisco Mexico, he was the son of Luis Marquez and Trinidad Garcia. He married Maria Angelina Alvarez Ornelas on August 15, 1973 in Jesus Maria. Francisco worked for several years at a steel foundry in Chicago. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Angelina Alvarez Ornelas; children, Francisco Javier Marquez Alvarez, Oscar Osvaldo Marquez Alvarez, and Rosa Angela Salazar and four grandchildren, Abril Marquez Garnica, Camila Marquez Garnica, Erick Alexander Marquez Torres, and Aylin Salazar Marquez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 4-6 PM at the Third St. Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Interment will take place at Santuario De Virgen De Guadalupe, Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico.
