Elizabeth 'Betty' Ellerbusch August 6, 1936 - July 8, 2013

Elizabeth "Betty" Ellerbusch, age 76, of Faribault, died suddenly on Monday, July 8, 2013, at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Elizabeth Louise, was born on August 6, 1936 in Waseca, MN to George Sr. and Dorothy (Miller) McGuire. She graduated from Waseca High School with the class of 1954. Betty was united in marriage to Tennis Ellerbusch on April 11, 1959 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. She worked in the offices at both Jostens in Owatonna for five years, then for 28 years at McQuay''s International in Faribault until her retirement in 2007. Betty was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 889 Auxiliary and the Faribault Eagle''s Aerie 1460 Auxiliary. She also was a Eucharistic Minister for Divine Mercy Church bringing communion to the Sterling House. Betty loved being with her children and grandchildren. She and Tenny regularly enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to casinos, and dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tenny of Faribault; four children, Deborah Peacock of Patzucaro, Mexico, Greg (Beth) Ellerbusch of Faribault, Brian Ellerbusch of Faribault, and Todd (Sara) Ellerbusch of Rochester; six grandchildren, Jena (Jeremy) Bothun, Sara (Josh) Sjodin, Spencer and Paige Ellerbusch, and Lucas and Blake Ellerbusch; siblings, Jean (Bill) Hesse of Loyal, WI, Judy McGuire of Sacramento, CA, Shirley Geraghty of Plymouth, MN, Sharon (Jim) Reuth of Pittsville, WI, Michael McGuire of Maplewood, MN, and Rick McGuire of Florida; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George McGuire Jr.
