Eleanor E. Jacobs

Eleanor Jacobs passed away on April 12, 2021.

Born on January 29, 1928 in St Patrick, Minnesota to a family of 10 children, she was the daughter of Frank and Bessie (Pavlicek) Vohnoutka. She married Clifford Jacobs on June 11, 1950. They settled on a farm in Waterville, Minnesota and had three children, Linda, Steven and Mark. She liked flowers, fishing, playing cards, dogs, going to Mystic Lake and arguing with anyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford, two sisters, Marion and Angie, and four brothers Archie, George, Richard and Francis. She is survived by one sister, Rosemary (Ronald) Borchardt; two brothers Robert (Delilah) Vohnoutka and Joseph Vohnoutka; and two sisters-in-law, Darlene Vohnoutka and Kathy Vohnoutka. She is also survived by her three children, Linda (Dana) Fitts, Steve (Jeanne) Jacobs and Mark (Nikki) Jacobs; eight grandchildren, Andrew Fitts, Eric Fitts, Adam Jacobs, Elana Jacobs, Tracy Jacobs, Mary Kramvik, Carrie Hicks and Elizabeth Jacobs; and five great grandchildren, Hailey and Tristan Kramvick, Harvey and Gavin Cloutier, and Elle Hicks.

A public visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Private family services are being held.

Memorials are preferred to The Foundation for Children’s Minnesota or Second Harvest.
