Bruce Krautbauer, age 72, of Janesville passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems Hospital in Mankato due to complications from Non- Hodgkin''s Lymphoma.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John''s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alma City with Pastor Keith Bilitz and Pastor Del Begalka officiating. Interment will be held at Alma City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Arnoldt- McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester or to the Lymphoma/ Leukemia Society.

Bruce, son of Gilbert and Mabel (Floden) Krautbauer, was born on October 27, 1942 in Waseca, MN. He graduated with the last graduating class from Pemberton High School in 1960. He drove a double trailer semi for UPS for 33 years before retiring. During his employment, he received many safe driving awards and was a member of the 2 million mile safe driving club. Bruce was united in marriage to Dianna Oftedahl on August 28, 1965 at St. John''s Lutheran Church in St. Clair. He was a member of St. John''s in Alma City and held several different offices.

Bruce loved the MN Gophers, reading the Minneapolis Star Tribune, spending time at the cabin, and fishing with his brothers and his son. He enjoyed watching the weather channel and going to his grandchildren''s activities. Bruce also loved popcorn and vanilla ice cream.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Dianna; his mother, Mabel Krautbauer of Waseca; his children, Tracy (Tom) McBroom of Elysian, Troy Krautbauer (Roxanne Reese) of Janesville, and Tara (Mike) Ward of St. Clair; grandchildren, Maddie Krautbauer, Dallas,

Landry, Grant, and Troy McBroom, and Mason, Tori, and Austin Ward; step-grandchildren, Tommy and Lori McBroom and Zakk Reese; brother, Mark (Jennifer) Krautbauer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister-in-law, Judy Krautbauer of Mankato; brother-in-law, Elliott (Marleen) Oftedahl of Pemberton; sister-in-law, Betty (Sid) Spangenberg of Mankato; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert; and his brother, Richard Krautbauer.
